DEPART THE UNITED STATES
Depart your hometown and take an overnight flight across the Atlantic.
MAY 1 SHANNON ARRIVAL
After customs and immigration formalities at Shannon Airport, your CIE Tours driver/guide will
welcome you to Ireland. Have breakfast at a local venue with your fellow travelers before drive
along the coast of County Clare to visit the Cliffs of Moher, which overlook the shimmering Atlantic
Ocean. Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince along with the Princess Bride have scenes that were
filmed at this stunning landmark. Continue to your hotel in Limerick, where you will check in for
dinner and overnight stay.
DINNER & OVERNIGHT: RADISSON BLU HOTEL, LIMERICK
MAY - 2 LAHINCH GOLF CLUB
Today, enjoy a round of golf at Lahinch Golf Club. Lahinch has hosted every important Irish
amateur fixture and has been in existence for over 100 years. The two most challenging and
controversial holes are the 5th and 6th holes. Head back to Limerick and enjoy the balance of the
day at leisure. Note: Golf is not yet confirmed.
OVERNIGHT: RADISSON BLU HOTEL, LIMERIMAY DROMOLAND GOLF CLUB
MAY 3 -This morning, golfers will play a round of golf at Dromoland Castle Golf Club, which was designed
by Ron Kirby and J.B. Car, who are well known in the industry. The par 72, 18-hole course is filled
with gentle hills, water hazards and many challenges that will thrill golfers of all types. Non-golfers
will join a local guide for a gentle walking tour of Galway. They will see the medieval city walls,
Lynch’s Castle and the narrow streets. Also, enjoy some time free to explore Galway on your own.
Tonight, dinner is independent dinner in Limerick. Note: Golf is not yet confirmed.
OVERNIGHT: RADISSON BLU HOTEL, LIMERICK
MAY 4- BALLYBUNION GOLF COURSE
After breakfast, take a short ferry ride across the River Shannon Estuary. Then stop in Ballybunion,
where you will play a round of golf at the Old Course, which is a favorite of golfer, Tom Watson.
Continue on to visit the Foynes Flying Boat Museum to learn how Foynes was the fulcrum point for
air traffic between the United States and Europe in the 1930s and 1940s. The famous flying boats
were frequent visitors, carrying passengers who ranged from celebrities to refugees. Head back to
Limerick, where you can sightsee, shop and dine on your own. Note: Golf is not yet confirmed.
OVERNIGHT: RADISSON BLU HOTEL, LIMERI
MAY 5 - EXCURSION TO LOOP HEAD
In Doonbeg, play a round of golf at International Golf Links, a par-72 course that offers
stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean from several holes. The course utilizes much of the area’s
natural features, making Trump International Golf Links not only of championship caliber but also a
serene escape. Then travel along Loop Head Peninsula for breathtaking views. Start by driving
through Kilkee, which was made famous by Charlotte Bronte and Alfred Tennyson, whom both
stayed in the resort town. Continue via the quaint finishing village of Carrigaholt before traveling
through Kilbaha, the most western village on the loop. Enjoy an early farewell dinner at the
luxurious Dromoland Castle Hotel before spending the remainder of your evening free in Limerick.

MAY 7 RETURN TO THE UNITED STATES
Transfer to Shannon Airport and check in for your flight. You may do some last minute shopping at
the duty free stores before boarding your aircraft and flying back to the United States.
